Raising Money with Raising Kane!

I’m so grateful for amazing friends and the support I receive during the good times and the not so easy ones, too! Covid-19 has been tough on everyone, especially small businesses which is why we feel blessed to announce a partnership with Raising Kane!

Raising Kane is more than just a clothing company. They represent a movement in inspiring children around the world to do the right thing, to go the extra mile, and to stand out!  Bright Smiles is lucky to have been chosen to receive 20% of proceeds this week from all “Rory” t-shirts sold which will go towards helping those in need in our community receive the oral health care they require and deserve at no cost to them after the pandemic during our Give Where You Live charity days.

Check out Raising Kane’s website to learn more and to purchase a “Rory” t-shirt on sale for $19.99 that should be a staple in your wardrobe!

Coronavirus Update

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, please be advised:

Upon arrival in the reception area, please advise us if you have travelled to any locations confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to have confirmed cases of COVID-19, also known as the new coronavirus. Any travel completed between December and now is considered recent travel.

We advise that at least two weeks have passed since your return from one of the CDC-reported countries and no symptoms have presented, we can then proceed with the appointment.

We advise any client experiencing acute respiratory illness, including symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath, to remain home and reschedule appointments.

All clients are prescreened for any symptoms of communicable disease or acute respiratory infections such as influenza, fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, or cold and must be rescheduled in order to prevent the spread of microorganisms.

Screening will be completed before each appointment to determine whether a communicable disease risk exists and to assess the risk of exposure to blood, body fluids, secretions, excretions and non-intact skin and thus identify the strategies that will decrease exposure risk throughout the dental hygiene appointment.

Bright Smiles, Bright Futures!

Bright Smiles recently had the pleasure of spending some time at Indian Creek Road Public School meeting with four grade 2 and 3 classes. We reviewed brushing, flossing, nutrition, and oral health and overall health.

The students had some wonderful questions and made for a fun afternoon of learning!

Thank you to Colgate’s “Bright Smiles, Bright Futures” for the toothbrushes and toothpaste for all 86 children.
