Bright Smiles Owner Receives ‘Young Business Individual of the Year’ Award!

Bright Smiles is nominated for “Young Business Individual of the Year”!

We are humbled to share that Bright Smiles (Christine Fairbairn) has been nominated by the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce in the category of “Young Business Individual of the Year” for their Business Excellence Awards.

Bright Smiles is proud to support ‘Shop with a Cop’ again this holiday season by donating over 100 toothbrushes and toothpastes

Donations going out!

The purpose of this event is to foster positive relationships between children and law enforcement officers. Kids between the ages of 5-12 from across the Municipality are selected by Chatham-Kent Children’s Services, Big Brothers & Big Sisters and Victim Services. Each child is given a Walmart gift card to purchase gifts for their immediate family. The children are assigned their own officer as their ‘personal shopping assistant’ who escort them around the store to assist in selecting appropriate gifts for each family member. After shopping, the children are transported to the Bradley Convention Centre where they enjoy breakfast and other fun Christmas activities while elves wrapped their presents.

The goal of ‘Shop with a Cop’ is to break down the barriers between young people and law enforcement, with the intent of developing a better and more trusting relationship with those in uniform.
