Due to the coronavirus pandemic, please be advised:
Upon arrival in the reception area, please advise us if you have travelled to any locations confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to have confirmed cases of COVID-19, also known as the new coronavirus. Any travel completed between December and now is considered recent travel.
We advise that at least two weeks have passed since your return from one of the CDC-reported countries and no symptoms have presented, we can then proceed with the appointment.
We advise any client experiencing acute respiratory illness, including symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath, to remain home and reschedule appointments.
All clients are prescreened for any symptoms of communicable disease or acute respiratory infections such as influenza, fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, or cold and must be rescheduled in order to prevent the spread of microorganisms.
Screening will be completed before each appointment to determine whether a communicable disease risk exists and to assess the risk of exposure to blood, body fluids, secretions, excretions and non-intact skin and thus identify the strategies that will decrease exposure risk throughout the dental hygiene appointment.
